Al-Mutakabbir is the Only Being in all of existence for whom pride, greatness, and supremacy are truly deserved and not a transgression. Every form of arrogance in a human being is considered a spiritual disease in Islam precisely because it is an usurpation of the attribute that belongs exclusively to Al-Mutakabbir. The root k-b-r (كبر) speaks of a greatness so immense it cannot be contained — and in Allah alone, this greatness is real, complete, and not borrowed from anything. Contemplating Al-Mutakabbir dissolves false pride from the heart: when you stand before the truly and infinitely Great, every claim of personal greatness simply falls silent.
