The elevation of Ar-Rafi' transcends worldly categories: He can raise a poor person's status beyond that of a king, elevate a simple act of sincerity above a lifetime of outward performance, and exalt the one who was rejected by people to a position of honor in the sight of the divine. The surest path to the elevation of Ar-Rafi' is sincere humility before Him: 'Whoever humbles himself for Allah, Allah will raise him up.' The formula has never failed.
