Al-Musawwir is the Fashioner of Forms — the Artist who shapes each created thing into its precise and unique appearance. The Quran mentions this name alongside Al-Khaliq and Al-Bari' as three dimensions of a single act of creation: bringing into being, originating distinctly, and shaping into form. Every face you have ever seen, every landscape, every creature's intricate structure — all of it is His artistry. The word sawwara (صور) also means 'to picture' or 'to imagine' — Allah fashioned the forms of all creation before the universe existed, holding them complete in His knowledge.
