Al-Qahhar is the Irresistible Subduer — the One whose power absolutely overcomes and dominates everything in existence without exception or limit. No force, no rebellion, no pride, no tyrant can withstand His subduing: every particle of creation is under His absolute dominion. The Quran uses this name to humble the arrogant and reassure the oppressed: the same power that humbled Pharaoh and every empire before and after is the power that stands behind the believer. Importantly, Al-Qahhar does not subdue out of cruelty — He subdues to establish truth, to protect the vulnerable, and to bring every soul into alignment with its ultimate reality.
