Al-Halim is the Forbearing One who is immensely patient — not because He is unaware or incapable of response, but because His patience is itself a mercy, an invitation, and a form of generosity extended to the servant. He sees every sin, every transgression, every moment of forgetfulness and ingratitude — and He delays His punishment not because He does not notice, but because He is giving time for repentance. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'No one is more patient with harmful words than Allah — people attribute a son to Him, yet He still gives them health and provision.' Al-Halim's patience is not indifference — it is the most generous form of second chance imaginable.
