Al-Mujib is the One who responds — to every supplication, every prayer, every call made to Him with sincerity, in whatever form it takes. The Quran states without condition: 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you.' Al-Mujib's response may not always come in the form expected: sometimes the answer is exactly what was asked, sometimes it is better than what was asked, and sometimes the response is protection from a harm that was unseen. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'There is no Muslim who supplicates without sin or severing of kin ties but that Allah gives him one of three things: his supplication is answered, its reward is deferred for the Hereafter, or an equivalent harm is averted.' Al-Mujib always responds — the response is never silence.
