Al-Mu'min comes from the same root as iman (faith) — a-m-n (أمن) — meaning security, trust, and the granting of safety. He is the One who affirms His own oneness, who confirms the prophets as truthful, and who grants the deep security of faith to the hearts of believers. Just as a person becomes a mu'min (believer) by placing their trust in Allah, Allah Himself is Al-Mu'min — the ultimate source and grantor of that security. When faith feels fragile or the heart is gripped by fear, remember that Al-Mu'min does not merely promise safety — He embodies it, and the security He grants cannot be taken away by any external force.
