Malik ul-Mulk is the Owner of All Sovereignty — the One to whom all dominion truly belongs, who grants kingdoms to whomever He wills, withdraws them from whomever He wills, grants honor to whomever He wills, and humbles whomever He wills. The Quran contains a direct prayer invoking this name: 'O Allah, Owner of all sovereignty — You give sovereignty to whom You will, and You take sovereignty from whom You will.' Every king, every president, every powerful person throughout history held power only because Malik ul-Mulk granted it — and every time a kingdom falls, it is Malik ul-Mulk withdrawing what was only ever a loan. No human power is ultimate; all of it is on temporary lease from the One who owns it all.
